The model naming of high-frequency transformers typically uses the core structure type as the core prefix, with suffix numbers representing core size or specification parameters. Different series correspond to differentiated application scenarios and performance characteristics. The following is a classification of mainstream models and key information based on core type:

▶ I. EE Series (Basic General Purpose)

The EE type is the most commonly used basic ferrite core structure, with a very wide range of applications covering switching power supplies, LED drivers, electronic device power supply, etc., featuring ease of winding and high cost-effectiveness.

• Common models: EE-13, EE-16, EE-19, EE-22, EE-25, EE-28, EE-35, EE-42, EE-50

• Model rule: The larger the suffix number, the larger the core size (height, center pillar cross-sectional area), and the higher the output power limit.

• Typical applications: EE-13/16 are suitable for small smart home devices, EE-42/50 can be used for main transformers in industrial-grade switching power supplies.

▶ II. PQ Series (Power Dense)

The PQ series has "high power density" as its core advantage, with a compact core structure and excellent heat dissipation performance. The numbers represent the core length × width dimensions, widely used in power adapters, industrial equipment, etc.

Common models: PQ2625, PQ3220, PQ3230

Model analysis:

• PQ2625 (26mm × 25mm): Compact size, suitable for smart homes, small inverters;

• PQ3220 (32mm × 20mm): Medium power scenarios, such as LED drivers, small power modules;
